On Facebook they write how they care and what they do for the Animals. They show many nice pictures and so on. But if we need help it looks like this:
I try to help a dog with one leg missing and his Bone is sticking out and smells, but nobody is helping.
I called several times about a injured dog in Kato Chorio. I was told we have no car for transport. Well then for what is the amimalhelp in Ierapetra?
Now we took the dog in our car to Marianna in Gra Ligia. They told us we have to follow the rules of the system and call the municipality and they will care. But on the phone of the Animalpolice I was told they will bring the Animal to Marianna and they already called Mrs Kassotaki. But nothing happened untill 12:00. So we went there to bring the dog.
They where not happy to speak with us and didnt want to listen and told me we have work to do. So I said when they dont want to help we will bring the dog to the Police. Then they said we can leave it there. We just tried to help and earn unfriendly comunication. We catched the dog and put it in our Box and drove to Gra Ligia. Some day we will have to collect our box from Gra Ligia. For what does an Animal municipality exist when it doesnt work?
